On Friday, February 27th, the „Kompetenzgruppe Redevelopment" of the "gif Gesellschaft für Immobilienwirtschaftliche Forschung e. V.“ visited the PRISMA. On site, Holger Hosang (2nd from the right), Managing Partner at Sonar Real Estate, explained how energy efficiency targets can be achieved in existing buildings and what technical measures underpin the building's energy concept.
Hosang stated that refurbishment is no longer merely a cosmetic measure, but rather a technical and strategic vision for the future. Among other things, he presented the PRISMA's target values, which stand for CRREM-compatible operation:
- 80 kWh/m² final energy
- 71 kWh/m² primary energy
- an energy path that is compatible with the decarbonisation targets of the building sector and reduces the risk of CRREM stranding
Overall, the meeting offered participants the opportunity to learn about the energy transformation of the PRISMA at close quarters and to exchange views on current approaches to the redevelopment of existing buildings.
